Making your Berries Last
There are lots of good deals on berries lately. But, it’s a good idea to make sure you are able to eat them all before they go bad.
Ever wonder how to make your berries last longer?
Try using a vinegar wash!

How to Make Vinegar Fruit Wash:
Fill a large bowl with 1 part white vinegar to 4 cups water.
Add your berries, and let them soak for 5 minutes.
If you have more berries to do, you can use the same vinegar water, simply scoop out the berries and rinse them in batches.
After 5 minutes, scoop out each batch, drain them into a colander, and rinse them under cold water.
Transfer to a towel to let them air dry. The key to keeping most fruit and vegetables longer is to rid them of the excess water.

Once dry, transfer them to a container. Use a piece of paper towel in the bottom of the container to absorb any excess water.
