Here is a quick tip when shopping for new clothes.
Check to see if a fabric is prone to wrinkles or a fabric that will hold up and not wrinkle easily by doing the ‘grab’ test.
I use this often when shopping for clothes. Take the corner of a garment and grab it in your hand, make a fist, then let it go.
If the fabric falls back without wrinkles, it’s most likely a good indication that it will not wrinkle easily.
If the fabric maintains the wrinkles you just made when you scrunched it up, you may want to pass on this garment as it’s going to be a lot to maintain it. It will definitely wrinkle easily.
To make your own DIY wrinkle release spray, you’ll need the following:
You’ll need a spray bottle to make your Wrinkle Release Spray
Add 2 cups of warm water to a spray bottle.
Add 1 teaspoon of hair conditioner.
Add 1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar.
Shake well to combine the ingredients.
Spray a bit on your wrinkled fabric.
Pull the damp fabric taught and leave on a flat surface.
