There are lots of people who have racked up their SDM points throughout the year, and many wait for a good redemption event right before Christmas to spend them.
Since we don’t know the exact days the redemption events will take place, it might help to look at the history from last year (2024) to get an idea as to when these Spend Your Points Events will happen.
Last year in October, there was a crazy double your points redemption event. We haven’t seen that kind of redemption event since then. It would be nice if they offered one during November or December this year.

They claim each one is the biggest bonus redemption but the one that doubled our points for redemption in October 2024 was definitely bigger. Still giving extra points/money to spend with your points is the best time to shop and get more than your earned points value.
